Latvindia Open Innovation Platform

Who is an Innovator?

We are all innovators
Everyone is an innovator because innovative ability is inherently present in all of us. Since we were born, we have innovated by learning by doing.

What is Innovation?

Simply put, innovation is about successfully implementing a new idea and creating value.

There are 3 elements of innovation: a new idea, the implementation and creating value, but we start with a new idea.

Innovation involves introducing something new. Innovation is a mindset, a way of thinking beyond the present and into the future. Innovation is always associated with business growth. It may change how a business is set up, how it functions, what products or services it delivers and how it communicates with customers. Or simply what is the colour of the wall in the office.

3 Elements of Innovation

The idea -- This is your job

Implementation -- This our job

Creating value -- This is our common job

What is an Innovative Idea?
What ideas are we looking for? We think most ideas are so hard to implement because they don’t have all three aspects of success: being new, great, and reliable. A new idea surprises and delights people because it’s unexpected. Great is much more of a subjective term than either new or reliable. It means an idea that inspires and excites people. A reliable idea is one on which we can build a business, and ultimately it makes money. We are looking for new, great and reliable ideas. If you have such an idea, you are the guy we seek.
What is Implementation?
Although innovative ideas are great opportunities, transforming ideas into an income stream is a unique problem that most businesses should face. Indeed innovative companies do not necessarily have the most ground-breaking ideas but rather the ones that can identify a good idea and devote the resources to putting it in place and committing to the use and support of that initiative. You deliver the idea; we evaluate it and try to find a partner to implement the innovation.
